JESUS, THE GLORY OF GOD
One of the words used in Hebrew to describe "glory" is "hadharah," with root-meaning of " brightness ." God is light, and that light or glory is Jesus. Then Jesus is God.

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

One of the words used in Hebrew to describe โglory" is โhaฬdhaฬraฬh," with root-meaning of โbrightness." The word โgloryโ carries the ideas of size, rarity, beauty and adornment, the emphasis being laid in the first instance in each case upon some external physical characteristic which attracts the attention, and makes the object or the individual described by the word significant or prominent.
The Bible says in Revelation 21:23 that, "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof." This is about the New Jerusalem coming down from the heavens after the renewal of all things. And it's said that on the new earth shall be no sun, nor moon to shine on it ; rather, God Himself will lighten it. In other words, the glory which emanates from God will be light on the new earth. And it's added that, "โฆand the Lamb is the light thereof." In other words, that glory or light which emanates from God is Jesus ; for Jesus is the Lamb.
Jesus is the glory or the light of God.
And the depth of this mystery is that it's also said, โThis then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.โ ( 1 John 1:5). Did you see that ? God is light in all His Being. And Jesus is that light of God, therefore, Jesus and God cannot be separated ; and as Jesus said Himself, โI and my Father are one.โ (John 10:30). Hallelujah!
Our main verse says this, โAnd the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.โ ( Isaiah 40:5). Isaiah the Prophet of the Lord foretold the time when the iniquity of Israel in particular, and the whole world in general, would be removed by the Messiah. And he said that at that time shall the glory of God be revealed. And you know who the glory of God is already. Thus the coming of the Messiah was foretold to the world ; and those who receive Him shall be like Him. Glory be to God.
